Account Manager - Ticket Sales & Services
Position objective: Tickets are the lifeblood of sports. This role focuses on accelerating growth and maximizing impact across the organization through effective ticket sales and client engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Gain knowledge of the ticketing system to answer questions and troubleshoot any customer issues.
Manage game day responsibilities: box office operations, answering incoming calls & emails, and/or prospecting clients at the stadium.
Leverage best practices to sell tickets.
Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and closed sales.
Assist with ticket holder gift distribution.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Do you want to be a superstar in sports business? That’s the first qualification. If you answered yes, then answer two more questions: (1) Do you have a strong work ethic? and (2) Do you have a desire to learn and excel? You should have strong communication skills and a willingness to listen and learn. Sales experience is not required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong verbal communication, networking, and relationship‑building skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
Basic understanding of technology systems and Internet applications as well as CRM systems.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Experience with Tickets.com, Ticketmaster, Archtics, or other ticketing systems a plus, but not required.
Compensation Base salary plus commissions, starting at approximately $35,000 per year with potential increases based on sales volume. Full health benefits included.
