Professional Search Group – OC has partnered with a growing industrial IoT company seeking a results-driven
Territory Account Manager (TAM)
to drive revenue growth within a designated customer portfolio and geographic territory. This customer‑facing role will focus on expanding business with existing accounts and identifying new opportunities across target industries and verticals.
The ideal
Territory Account Manager
brings a strong background in technical sales, a deep understanding of industrial networking, controls & automation, or IoT technologies, and a passion for building relationships that lead to long‑term success.
Pay Range Base: $120,000/yr – $150,000/yr Commission: Available
Key Responsibilities
Represent the company and its partners professionally to both existing and prospective customers.
Consistently achieve assigned revenue and profitability goals.
Conduct proactive outreach and follow‑up with leads and inquiries.
Navigate complex organizations to uncover opportunities and drive customer engagement.
Collaborate with internal teams—including inside sales and operations—to align resources and deliver effective solutions.
Develop strong relationships with key customer and partner stakeholders.
Maintain a healthy sales funnel and actively manage opportunities from prospecting to close.
Provide quotes and assist with customer communication and order coordination as needed.
Understand customer applications and align product solutions to address specific challenges.
Present tailored solutions that solve customer problems and meet business needs.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years in technical outside/field sales.
Experience with industrial networking (preferred), controls & automation, wireless, or IoT solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Proven track record managing a sales territory or region.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
Strong “hunter” mentality with curiosity and adaptability in technical sales environments.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate across departments.
Team‑oriented, self‑motivated, and disciplined in daily responsibilities.
Willingness to travel regularly within the territory.
Additional Requirements
Hybrid role with in‑person client meetings required.
Up to 5 nights per month of overnight travel.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
