Estimated first‑year earnings range: $35,000 – $60,000. Uncapped commission and earnings.

This position sells pre‑need and at‑need funeral services, inventory, cemetery services, property and merchandise. The Sales Counselor assists families with funeral selections and attends services. Leads are generated through walk‑ins, inbound calls and proactive lead generation and prospecting. Training pay of $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks.

Responsibilities

Assist families with funeral selections and attend services.

Generate leads through walk‑ins, inbound calls, and proactive lead gen.

Sell funeral services, inventory, cemetery services, property, and merchandise.

Maintain high discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Work some holidays, evenings, weekends as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred education in Business, Marketing, Sales.

1 year of sales experience preferred.

Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement provided.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) required.

Experience with a CRM preferred.

Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving, verbal, written, interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast‑paced environment.
