The Sales Counselor position at Everstory Partners involves selling pre-need and at-need funeral services, inventory, cemetery services, property and merchandise. The role assists families with funeral selections and attends services, and generates leads through walk-ins, inbound calls and proactive prospecting. A 6‑week training period is paid at $18.00 per hour.

About the Role

Estimated first‑year earnings range, including hourly wage and commission.

Uncapped commission and earnings.

Sells pre‑need and at‑need funeral services and inventory as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise.

Assists families with funeral selections and attends services.

Leads are generated through a combination of walk‑ins, inbound calls and proactive lead generation and prospecting.

Training pay of $18.00 per hour for 6 weeks.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business, Marketing, and/or Sales preferred.

1 year of sales experience preferred.

Valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook).

Experience working in a CRM (lead management system preferred).

Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast‑paced environment.

High level of discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.

Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.
