Patient Account Representative (Medical Collector)
Location: REMOTE (must reside in

Pay: $18-20/hr depending on experience and state

PRN is a leading physical therapy clinic platform in the U.S., owning and operating 200+ independent PT clinics that offer a variety of outpatient rehabilitation services. We are the therapist-friendly physical rehabilitation organization in the west, supporting over 200 clinics across 16 states with 1,800 employees.
Job Duties Manage primary and secondary claims Respond promptly to billing inquiries from patients, insurance companies, and departments Work with clinics to identify and resolve issues regarding outstanding account balances Resolve denials and submit appeals Utilize the most efficient resources to secure timely payment of open claims Research assigned correspondence and take necessary action to resolve requests Ensure daily accomplishments contribute toward company goals for A/R Resolve accounts in follow-up queues
Job Requirements High School or GED required; equivalent education and experience acceptable 2 years prior medical receivable collections experience preferred Understanding of medical claims processing Experience with insurance systems Knowledge of insurance including State and Federal rules and regulations as they relate to billing and collections Ability to understand claim denials/rejections Ability to read an Explanation of Benefits Knowledge of medical terminology
Education High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience Medical collection: 2 years (Preferred)
