Account Manager – Truck Sales

Account Manager

Responsibilities
Prospecting new business
Creating truck specifications
Understanding customer needs and preparing quotations
Managing the entire sales cycle from truck order to delivery
Supporting sales of other dealership services
Providing the best service possible in a fast, demanding pace
Qualifications
5+ years of sales experience in a truck dealership or related industry (truck leasing, rental, automotive, equipment, tractor, trailer, or other transportation sectors).
Driven personality capable of succeeding in a highly competitive industry.
Extensive experience and documented success prospecting and closing new business.
Entrepreneurial and independent approach; no micromanagement or excessive forecasting/reporting.
Strong industry knowledge and participation in trade shows and local associations.
Above‑average written and verbal communication skills.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, dealer management, and truck specification systems.
Commercial Driver’s License required or willingness to obtain one.
High school diploma required; some college preferred.

Additional Information Location: Hagerstown/Frederick, MD area. Salary range: $110,000–$125,000. Employment type: Full‑time. Seniority level: Mid‑Senior.
