As a
House Manager , you will manage a residential program in New Jersey, overseeing daily operations, staff orientation and training, service delivery, health and nutrition, budgeting, compliance, and community relationships.
What You Get To Do
Manage a single residential program in New Jersey.
Monitor, coordinate and assure all services to the individual are delivered, communicated and coordinated on a daily basis.
Provide daily supervision and oversight of all staff at each location.
Ensure daily health care and nutritional needs are met.
Coordinate changes in services, hospitalizations and other issues.
Maintain cleanliness, organization and upkeep of the home and vehicle.
Ensure compliance with emergency procedure requirements.
Promote a positive cooperative relationship with team members, vendors, neighbors, law enforcement and emergency personnel.
Manage budgeting and spending accounts, ensuring proper reporting.
Qualifications
Two‑year degree in related social services field and/or two years of experience in IDD (Intellectual/Developmental Disability) field.
Experience working in developmental disabilities; supervisory experience preferred.
Person‑centered, patient, and kind.
Dependable, adaptable, flexible.
Observant and detail oriented.
Positive role‑model for others and able to work on a team.
Committed to creating a respectful and collaborative environment.
Computer skills for documentation.
Good communication skills; able to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with internal and external team members.
Schedule Mon 9‑5 p, Tues 7‑3 p, Wed 10 a‑6 p, Thurs 9 a‑5 p, Sat 8 a‑4 p
Wage $49,200 /year starting
