Part-Time Outside Sales Representative
SMART - Los Angeles . In this role, you will be responsible for generating pre-need sales within your assigned market area.
Job Description
Cultivate community relationships to educate and guide families in preplanning decisions
Excel in setting appointments and delivering preplanning guide presentations
Utilize Navigator to complete contracts promptly, neatly, and accurately
Track all sales activity and ratios to identify strengths and areas for improvement
Use Shape CRM to manage contacts and ensure professional follow-up
Prospect regularly using various methods, including mailers, seminars, and outside events
Provide world-class customer service with a positive attitude and a willingness to do “whatever it takes”
Stay current on relevant topics such as veteran’s benefits, social security benefits, and end-of-life decisions
Responsibilities
Report sales activity to the manager weekly (unless directed otherwise)
Operate independently with minimal supervision
Build trust and utilize consultative selling techniques
Exhibit proficiency in presentation and closing techniques
Develop and sustain community relationships
Communicate with professionalism and tact
Perform basic mathematical calculations accurately
Manage difficult situations with confidence and empathy
Maintain reliable transportation, a valid state driver’s license, and a satisfactory driving record
