Assistant Manager - Residential Services
Location: Ocean County, NJ
Employment type: Full-time
Salary: $22.20 – $26.20 per hour, based on shift differential and overtime availability.
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday 3 pm–11 pm (flexible based on program needs); 40 hours per week.

What You’ll Do
Supervise and support residential staff in the Manager's absence, conduct monthly supervision meetings and performance evaluations.
Assist with staff scheduling, training, and coaching.
Teach life skills and support personal/social development for residents.
Support recreational, social, and community-based activities.
Develop, write, and manage Individual Habilitation Plans (IHPs) and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
Implement behavioral plans and track progress.
Maintain a safe, home-like environment and ensure residents receive necessary medical, dental, pharmaceutical, and behavioral services.
Keep accurate electronic documentation and logs; support licensing and regulatory compliance.
Assist with program budgeting and household expenditures; complete required reports and documentation.
Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and problem‑solving skills; perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Strong leadership, reliability, and teamwork skills.
Valid NJ Driver's License with no more than five points.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a group‑home setting.
Ability to supervise, support, and lead staff.
Physical capability to lift/mobility assistance and meet other physical demands.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and adjust schedule to meet program needs.
