Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Pizza Maker to join our vibrant food service team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing delicious pizzas, and ensuring smooth daily operations in a quick service and fast food restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, strong multitasking skills, and experience in the food industry. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop culinary skills and gain valuable retail and food service experience. Duties Prepare and cook pizzas according to company recipes and standards, maintaining quality and consistency Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payment handling Greet customers, take orders, and provide exceptional customer service with a friendly attitude Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities and increase customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining area, and food preparation stations in compliance with food safety standards Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and ensuring a sanitized environment Manage food preparation tasks efficiently during peak hours while maintaining high standards of quality and safety>Follow all health regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential Experience working in a café, grocery store, or retail setting is beneficial Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities during busy periods Requirements **Applicant must be 21 or older (To serve beer and wine) This position provides an opportunity to develop culinary skills while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
