Position Overview We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive to own sales performance, education, and brand execution across the Sephora New York market for LAWLESS Beauty. Reporting to the National Director of Sales and Education, this role is responsible for maintaining and strengthening established business while driving incremental growth through strategic field execution, education, and relationship management. This position blends commercial ownership with hands‑on field leadership — bringing the brand to life in store while delivering measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
Own and deliver sales performance across all Sephora doors within the assigned territory, maintaining existing business while driving incremental growth
Represent the brand in the field, ensuring consistent execution of sales, education, and merchandising standards
Build and maintain strong partnerships with Sephora store leadership and Beauty Advisors to drive visibility, conversion, and long-term growth
Lead elevated in‑store education and training, enabling teams to confidently sell brand products and storytelling
Sell side‑by‑side in store, leading by example through product demonstration, application, and basket building
Plan and execute store events, activations, and key Sephora moments to drive trial and awareness
Ensure flawless execution of merchandising, campaign launches, resets, and new door openings
Analyze sales performance by door and implement targeted strategies to optimize productivity and performance
Recruit, manage, and develop freelance or market‑level field support to enhance in‑store execution
Serve as a key liaison between the field and HQ, sharing insights, feedback, and trends to inform strategy
Manage territory budgets responsibly and utilize company resources effectively
Maintain timely, professional communication with Sephora and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience in beauty, retail, field sales, or field education
Sephora experience required; strong understanding of the prestige beauty retail environment
Proven ability to influence, train, and motivate in‑store teams
Experience managing freelance or in‑store field support teams
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess sales performance and promotional impact
Passion for color cosmetics with a strong connection between artistry and selling
Passion for clean beauty and the ability to authentically communicate the LAWLESS mission
Eye for merchandising and high standards for brand presentation
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
Proactive, adaptable, and results‑oriented mindset
Willingness to travel regularly within territory, work weekends as needed, and support in‑store events
Ability to lift and transport product for activations and events
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to travel and work weekends / holidays as needed
