What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Proactively maintain and retain relationships with existing customers in the commercial and industrial waste services sector
Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the employer’s services, pricing structures, and additional offerings
Perform contractual re-signs to extend customer relationships and increase profitability
Utilize Salesforce to document all activities including calls, meetings, and proposals
Increase customer penetration by selling the full suite of the employer's products
What is Required (Qualifications)
High school diploma or G.E.D.
0 - 2 years of customer service experience
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and respond to their needs
Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM software
Strong knowledge of the waste management industry is a plus
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in the waste or transportation industry
Familiarity with environmental services and sustainability practices
Previous sales experience in a customer-facing role
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer inquiries
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
