Base pay range $140,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year (salary plus bonus incentives).

Zenex works closely with distribution partners to enhance brand equity and enter new market sectors with minimal upfront investment.
Key Account Manager The Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth with current and new key distribution accounts, wholesalers, and buying groups. They will manage key customer relationships and execute strategic sales initiatives to achieve assigned growth objectives. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of the chemical manufacturing industry, and a results‑driven mindset. The successful candidate will collaborate with the regional sales team and cross‑functional departments to maximize sales potential while ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction.
Territory : United States & Canada
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a sales strategy for respective customer groups to meet and exceed company growth targets.
Manage and grow relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and buying groups to drive revenue and market share.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Zenex’s presence in industrial, automotive, janitorial, and screen‑printing markets.
Present and explain Zenex products and services to potential and existing customers, demonstrating value and competitive advantages.
Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential sales opportunities and threats.
Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and updates in ERP software.
Work closely with marketing, production, and product development teams to align sales efforts with customer needs and market demands.
Represent Zenex at industry trade shows, customer meetings, and field sales activities.
Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management, analyzing data for strategic decision‑making.
Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies during all sales operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the aerosol or chemical industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Self‑motivated and results‑driven with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Ability to travel as needed (approximately 5-10 days per month).
A background in chemical distribution sales and specifically aerosol sales is preferred.
Physical Requirements
Requires full range of body motion.
Must be tolerant of strong odors and chemical fragrances.
Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 5-10 days per month).
