Commercial Sales Account Representative AMECO is looking to hire an experienced, highly motivated Commercial Sales Account Representative located in/around the Gulf Coast sales territory (Louisiana, Mississippi, portion of TX). You will provide personalized solutions to fit our customer’s equipment, tooling, and consumable needs. The ideal candidate is a team player with exceptional sales and customer service skills and the ability to build/maintain long‑term relationships with construction, contractor, scaffolding, industrial, electrical power welding & rigging industries.

Key Responsibilities

Increase company market share by prospecting new business (equipment rental and supply needs) while servicing and growing existing accounts in the assigned territory.

Forge new and existing relationships that impact long‑term success and sales of our products and services, including quoting, selling/up‑selling/cross‑selling to drive increased customer spend and trust in AMECO.

Manage an assigned account base ensuring customer service/satisfaction expectations are met while achieving sales and profitability objectives.

Manage a CRM platform and build a pipeline of qualified businesses.

Requirements

Minimum of three years’ experience in an outside sales, account management or business development capacity.

Prior exposure to the supply distribution, equipment rental industry, mechanical, contracting or construction services, including knowledge of our product offering (tools and equipment) would be beneficial.

Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to juggle multiple time‑sensitive priorities, while delivering quality support to customers in a fast‑paced environment.

High level of communication and interpersonal skills with ability to respond to inquiries at all levels.

Team‑oriented and collaborative.

Some college/associate degree in a related field preferred.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis, report generation and formulating sales quotes/materials/presentations.

SAP experience, particularly SAP Business One, would be a definite plus.

This position will involve some travel, including overnight stays. Candidates will be supported by the Baton Rouge, LA branch location.
