Inside Sales Specialist - Gulf

Main Purpose of the Role
As the first line of communication, support the Account Executive and management efficiently and effectively in order to achieve branch and company goals. This includes emphasizing our main features, assisting with the preparation of quotes and contracts, requesting credit terms, and supporting the AO in preparing for customer meetings as needed.
Major Areas of Responsibility • Build and maintain customers’ relationships through prompt service and troubleshooting assistance. • Input new customer data and other sales data for current and new customers into the CRM. • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information from the CRM sales‑lead system, market statistics, trade shows, direct email responses, card deck leads, Internet websites, and other sources. • Make outbound lead follow‑up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e‑mail to qualify leads for Sales Account Executives.
Main Tasks
Support the Account Executive and management by responding to customer requests regarding rates, free time, service contracts and all other general requests.
Prepare reports for the Branch Sales Director and Branch VP.
Prepare information for 1:2 meetings with the Account Executive and Branch Sales Director.
Communicate with the Account Executive, Trade, Pricing, BU, Contract Management, Regulatory, Customer Service and all other cross‑functional teams.
Generate sales leads by mining data from Datamyne/PIERs or other public records.
Conduct face‑to‑face customer visits with the Account Executive.
Communicate closely with the Account Executive, Branch Sales Director, Trade/BU and cross‑functional teams on market intelligence, service updates, customer challenges and opportunities, and complete required activities and updates in the CRM.
Requirements
Four‑year college or university program certificate.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the ocean shipping or related industry.
