Sr. Account Executive - tax/trade -MD/VA/DE/WV Sr. Account Executive

About The Role Containing new business development and account management responsibilities, the role focuses on building and executing account plans for both new and existing corporate customers.

Supporting the tax/trade solutions.

Location:

Remote based role, covering MD/DE/VA/WV – candidates should live within the territory.

Prospecting: Actively seek new business opportunities with both new and existing customers to build a strong sales pipeline. Maintain a pipeline clean and up‐to‐date with 3‑4× coverage of monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

Account Management: Handle a list of major accounts (companies with revenues ≥$500M), leading the entire sales process through account planning, deal closing, and renewal.

Sales Goals: Meet or exceed revenue targets.

Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to tailor solutions to customer needs.

Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers and stakeholders.

Salesforce Maintenance: Update the CRM system (salesforce.com) with accurate records and forecasts. Conduct client meetings, in person or via MS Teams.

About You

Proven ability to sell complex software solutions to large enterprises (≥$500M) using a consultative, value‑based approach.

Self‑starter comfortable with ambiguity, capable of managing change effectively.

Experience selling to C‑level executives with a solution‑selling mindset, highlighting business impact.

Skilled at leading detailed sales processes involving multiple stakeholders.

Deep understanding of AI and its applications in legal‑department operations.

Enthusiastic about prospecting and able to manage the full sales cycle independently.

Works effectively across marketing, product, and legal teams to achieve shared objectives.

Strong commitment to refining sales strategies, enhancing team culture, and developing sales tools.

College degree preferred; at least 5 years of direct field sales experience (corporate sector preferred) with a proven track record of exceeding quotas.

Ability to develop and execute an account plan.

Able to work from home and travel 25‑50% of the time.

Pay Range:

$178,500 – $331,500 USD (total compensation depends on experience and qualifications).
