Job Summary Salesperson responsible for driving growth within an assigned territory by servicing existing customers and prospecting new ones. Responsible for accurate assessment of customer needs, preparing quotations, and delivering equipment demonstrations.

Qualifications and Requirements

Proactive customer greeting and needs assessment

Experience in sales and customer service in equipment or a similar industry

Strong communication skills (oral and written)

Organized, detail‑oriented and able to maintain accurate records in a CRM system

Valid driver’s license and clean DMV report; ability to occasionally drive

Basic understanding of pricing, financing and warranty coverage

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of industry experience

Duties and Responsibilities

Greet and assess customers in sales floor or jobsite; determine equipment needs.

Drive growth within assigned territory by servicing existing customers and prospecting new ones.

Pre‑qualify customer needs and prepare/attend demonstrations.

Understand price lists, merchandise programs, and prepare accurate sales quotations.

Communicate company credit and financing policies.

Explain warranties and basic equipment financing to customers.

Assist credit and service department with disputes.

Manage relationships and activities in CRM system.

Deliver accurate marketing information using CRM.

Collaborate with sales and rental coordinators to process documentation.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Minimum of high school diploma and at least three years of industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid driver's license and clean DMV record.

Physical Demands Regular use of hands and fingers, occasional standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.

Work Environment Moderate noise, occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.

Compensation Base salary $24,000 plus commission plan. Salary based on knowledge, skill, and performance.
