Regional Sales Manager
to manage the Florida Region for Ultradent! The Florida Regional Sales Manager will oversee sales operations and staffing of 11 field sales representatives from Jacksonville to Miami. Ideal candidates live in Tampa, Fort Lauderdale or Orlando.
Key Responsibilities
Recruit, train and motivate high‑performance Territory Account Managers to achieve regional sales goals
Ensure that all Territory Account Managers meet or exceed activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, closes, and account management
Develop strategic business plans for the region to expand the customer base and meet company sales and profitability goals
Conduct periodic ride‑along and annual performance reviews with Territory Account Managers to build effective communication, identify training needs, and improve sales performance
Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance
Maintain accurate records of all activity reports submitted by Territory Account Managers
Assist Territory Account Managers in preparing Continuing Education courses
Control expenses to meet budget guidelines
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure they are communicated and implemented in the region
Set an example for Territory Account Managers in personal character, commitment, organizational skills, selling skills and work habits
Maintain contact with all clients in the region to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams to exceed sales goals
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
Capability to travel overnight (approximately 50% of the time)
What We’re Looking For In You
3+ years of management experience in an outside, direct sales environment is ideal
BS/BA preferred
Dental background experience highly preferred
