Opportunity Snapshot Join Operative IQ, a leader in SaaS for First Responders, as a motivated Account Manager. This is a critical sales role focused on driving revenue growth within an established book of business. You will be the trusted advisor and strategic partner for our existing Fire and EMS clients, responsible for identifying expansion opportunities and meeting set sales quotas. This is not a customer support role; it is a

high-impact, quota-carrying sales position

that requires strategic relationship building and persistent sales execution.

Upselling/Cross‑selling, Relationship Management, Quota Attainment

Travel:

Up to 25%

Core Responsibilities As an Account Manager, you will manage a specific territory and own the growth of your client portfolio.

Drive Revenue and Achieve Quota (The "Sales" Part)

Achieve Quarterly Sales Quotas

by proactively identifying and closing upsell/cross‑sell opportunities (additional licenses, modules, or services) within existing accounts.

Conduct strategic "Account Health" check‑ins to gain deep insight into customer challenges, future goals, and potential areas for growth.

Present compelling and customized product demonstrations (online and occasionally onsite) to articulate the clear value proposition of Operative IQ solutions.

Prepare and execute professional quotations and service agreements for new procurements.

Maintain accurate sales forecasts and detailed account management activities in

Salesforce CRM .

Build and Nurture Strategic Relationships (The "Account Management" Part)

Develop and sustain deep, trust‑based relationships with multiple key stakeholders (from end‑users to command staff) to ensure long‑term client retention and expansion.

Act as the primary point of contact for customer strategy, product planning, and procurement discussions.

Perform basic system triage and effectively direct clients to our dedicated Customer Support team for technical troubleshooting.

Collaborate and Innovate (The "Team" Part)

Represent Operative IQ and our brand at industry trade shows and client events.

Collaborate with our Training and Implementation teams to ensure a seamless client experience when new solutions are adopted.

Contribute to the team by sharing best practices and providing valuable client feedback to our Product Development team.

Essential Qualifications

2+ Years of Proven Sales Experience

in an account management, direct sales, or quota‑carrying capacity. SaaS experience is strongly preferred.

Proven Track Record

of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets/quotas.

Exceptional Communication and Presentation Skills

(verbal, written, and virtual) with the ability to clearly articulate complex software solutions to diverse audiences.

High Level of Business Acumen

and the ability to understand and discuss the operations and internal dynamics of First Responder organizations (Fire/EMS).

Strong Initiative

and an assertive, yet positive, approach to business development and follow‑up.

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Bonus Points Prior experience with Salesforce CRM and/or direct experience within the First Responder (Fire, EMS) industry.
