We are seeking a Sales Agronomist to build strong relationships with local growers and agricultural customers while providing trusted agronomic guidance. This role blends hands‑on agronomy with consultative sales, helping customers improve crop performance, soil health, and long‑term sustainability through the right products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with growers and agricultural customers within the assigned territory
Provide agronomic recommendations on crop management, soil health, fertilizers, and pest control
Identify and grow sales opportunities while working toward territory sales goals
Conduct soil and crop evaluations to improve yield and sustainability
Educate customers on products, best practices, and new technologies
Stay current on agronomic trends and market conditions
Travel within the territory to support customers as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience
2+ years of experience in agronomy or agricultural sales preferred
Strong knowledge of crop production, soil health, and pest management
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
Ability to work independently with a customer‑focused mindset
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region
