**Overall Responsibility:**
America First Works (AFW) is seeking a National Field Director to lead the strategic development and execution of grassroots advocacy and community engagement efforts that advance the America First Agenda nationwide. The ideal candidate is a mission-driven leader with extensive field organizing experience, a deep understanding of political advocacy, and a strong ability to mobilize supporters at the local, state, and national levels.
**Responsibilities and Duties:**
• Develop and oversee the implementation of AFW’s national grassroots organizing strategy across multiple states and regions.
• Recruit, train, and manage a network of regional field staff, volunteer leaders, and local advocates engaged in grassroots activities such as canvassing, phone banking, and event organizing.
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with community leaders, coalition partners, and grassroots organizations to build broad-based support for AFW initiatives.
• Represent AFW at key national events, policy forums, and coalition meetings to elevate the organization’s mission and expand its grassroots presence.
• Track, analyze, and report on field activities, including supporter engagement, volunteer metrics, regional performance, and campaign outcomes.
• Coordinate and support the planning and execution of large-scale events, including national advocacy days, rallies, forums, and leadership summits.
• Collaborate closely with the AFW Executive Director and communications team to align field operations with national messaging and rapid response priorities.
• Lead rapid deployment of field resources and actions in response to policy developments, media opportunities, or legislative activity.
• Ensure consistent and accurate documentation of grassroots activities in AFW’s CRM system, providing senior leadership with regular updates and strategic insights.
• Provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities for field staff to strengthen capacity and long-term leadership within the organization.
Compensation:
