The Opportunity This newly created, high‑impact role is part of the company’s expansion. The Sales Manager will lead the team to increase sales, focusing first on dramatically growing the Southeast Florida market over the first 12 months through training new designers and ensuring accountability to close rates. Subsequently, the role will focus on expanding the sales staff into the West Coast/Southwest Florida market. The ideal candidate must have industry experience and sales management expertise, balancing sales and design experience. This is a full‑time, in‑office position in Boca Raton.

What You Will Do

Supervise the entire sales team, including both the design and sales staff.

Interview, hire, and train new sales designers.

Hold sales personnel accountable for meeting closing targets.

Provide ongoing coaching, training, and ride‑alongs with designers, especially new ones or those struggling with sales.

Conduct daily checks on the proprietary CRM system to monitor updates and ensure sales activity.

Assist salespeople in completing sales and improving their closing ratio.

Work on optimizing the company’s training program and updating product offerings and price structure.

Drive the expansion into the West Coast of Florida.

Who You Are

A minimum of two years’ experience managing at least 10 designers/sales representatives within a closet company.

Proven experience in having trained and developed a minimum of 5 designers.

Must possess industry experience.

Required to have some design experience, even if it’s hand drawings; proficiency in a specific design program is not required.

Thorough knowledge of consultative sales techniques.

Highly organized, meticulous, and detail‑oriented in your approach.

Proficient with technology and able to quickly learn new systems.

Possess a strong drive towards growth and a high level of intelligence.

A college degree is preferred.

Ideal Candidate The Ideal Candidate is a hands‑on sales leader who possesses a rare combination of strong sales management and industry‑specific design experience. They have successfully managed a team of at least 9 designers/sales reps in a comparable industry. Experience from the luxury or high‑end in‑home sector, such as kitchen and bath, is relevant. This individual will be instrumental in the expansion into the West Coast market and must be adept at training, coaching, and holding sales staff accountable to targets. Building trust and establishing a good relationship and rapport with the sales team within the first 90 days will be critical for success. The most successful candidates often come from direct competitors.
