The Social Services Director will identify and provide for each resident’s social, emotional and psychological needs, and support the continuing development of the resident’s full potential during their stay at the facility. The Director will also assist in the planning for resident discharge. Responsibilities
Assist residents and their families with social, emotional, and family issues. Provide timely and accurate completion of documentation needed to comply with facility, state, and federal policies. Participate in resident care planning and discharge planning. Serve as a general source of information for residents and their families. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field. At least 3 years of experience working in social services, directly with individuals, preferably in a healthcare setting. High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality. Benefits
