Compensation: $100-150K base salary (plus uncapped commissions) / Total Comp ~ $200K and up
Our client is an established and respected supplier of nutritional ingredients and specialty chemicals sold to manufacturers of food, nutraceutical, and beverage products. We are searching for a sales professional, based in Utah to cover accounts throughout a Mountain States territory.
Candidate Attributes:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or one of the Life Sciences (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc.)
2 years minimum experience in B2B sales of nutritional ingredients sold to manufacturers of dietary supplements or sports nutrition products, gummies, nutritional bars, etc.
Prior experience working for a manufacturer or distributor of functional ingredients in a sales, sales support, tech service, or R&D capacity is required
Already have contacts established with nutritional supplement manufacturers in UTAH and elsewhere
Excellent negotiation skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Ability to travel – on average - 3 days a week to visit accounts
A valid driver’s license
A confident and hard-working attitude.
