The National Key Account Manager is responsible for achieving market share, availability and visibility targets through strong Key Account Management within assigned National Accounts (Walmart and Sam’s Club National). You must develop and translate strategy into execution plans and ensure quality implementation, while bringing creative programs & innovation into market activation to ensure that the BUSA portfolio priorities are executed to deliver optimum sales. You will report to the Senior National Account Manager and be remote in Bentonville, AR.

Responsibilities

Co‑lead the national HQ account call for Walmart & Sam’s Club

Develop and maintain strong working partnerships with internal Bacardi & distributor stakeholders across individual state & national teams to deliver depletion targets by brand and customer

Assist in developing annual sales plans and strategies across Bacardi portfolio to maximize execution with distributor partners

Collaborate cross‑functionally with various functions: shopper marketing, RGM, Brand, ops, analytics, D‑com

Build and deliver fact‑based selling presentations to support key business objectives: new item innovation, retail strategy & promotional activity

Review data relevant to account/market/channel & support post‑promotional analysis for key programs with Sr. National Account Manager and NRS Customer Analyst to convert insights into actions for assigned customers

Establish weekly & monthly ways of working routine with key distributor stakeholders to maximize sales efforts

Coordinate and track the National and Regional brand activities through the distributor sales team to ensure industry leading execution in the market

Partner with Sr. National Account Manager & key NRS stakeholders in the development of custom brand programs to satisfy customer needs and business opportunities by state & region

Lead and support monthly key chain account planning calls with Local BUSA & Distributor personnel

Manage Travel & Entertainment (T&E) brand execution budgets and monthly key chain account KPI business systems

Sustain close working relationships of regional key account resources with distributors

Provide cross‑State & National view to build and optimize strategic customer plans

Ensure consistent coordination with the National Accounts (NRS) organization, and with other Commercial Business Units (CBU’s) impacted by Regional & HQ Account plans

Micromanage Pricing in coordination with Sr Retailer Merchants

Maintain item integrity within Walmart and Sam’s Club

Demonstrate proficiency in New Item Set Up and modular integrity within Walmart and Sam’s Club

Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or related area

4+ years Field Sales experience in a Key Account Management role, preferably within a spirits or consumer goods sales environment

Experience with analyzing & interpreting customer data (e.g., Nielsen/Dunnhumby) – converting insights into action

Ability to create, maintain and build professional relationships and strong partnerships both internally & externally

Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment with an entrepreneurial spirit, “go‑getter, get‑things‑done” behavior and “consumer/customer first” mindset

Excellent presentation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills

Ability and willingness to maintain flexible work schedules

Ability & willingness to travel throughout the US for internal, customer & distributor engagements

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Retail Link, Item 360, Supplier One, Scintilla, Activate, OVT, VIP and 99 Bottles Pricing Portal, Dunnhumby, Sam’s Club IDM and Pricing Gateway
