Position: Residential Manager - (Group Home IDD) at Beacon Specialized Living. Beacon is a successful national private‑equity backed behavioral health company providing residential‑based services and supports to children and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Severe Mental Illness, Autism, and high‑acuity behaviors. All activities related to this position must be delivered in compliance with the company’s policies and procedures, accreditation standards, state and federal licensing requirements, HCBS guidelines and related regulatory bodies. Responsibilities

Operate assigned home(s) to meet or exceed our home budgets and clinical effectiveness targets set by the company and/or customers. Support and supervise assigned Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), ensuring each has training and skills to provide high‑quality care. Maintain assigned home(s) and ensure good working order of all related systems, facilities, and furnishings. Assign repairs and maintenance duties to staff when possible; contact the Beacon maintenance department or direct supervisor to address facility maintenance issues. Assist direct supervisor with contracting approved services, direct and evaluate the performance of contractors providing needed services. Maintain cleanliness of assigned home(s) and vehicle(s) by developing daily duties and responsibilities for all employees for each shift. Communicate daily with direct supervisor. Manage on‑call responsibilities and report on‑call hours to direct supervisor as needed. Review or send important topics to direct supervisor for monthly home meetings. Prepare meeting room and schedule staff for meetings. Build positive relationships with referral sources, government and licensing agencies, and assist in coordinating admissions for individuals served. Collaborate with Beacon leadership and functional areas to improve quality of operations, compliance, residential care, and employee performance. Maintain professional conduct and ensure the same from home staff when on duty. Education & Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years of college coursework in business, social science, or a related human service discipline strongly preferred; high school diploma or GED required. 2‑3 years of previous leadership experience in a healthcare or behavioral healthcare related field preferred. 1‑2 years of previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
