Behlen Building Systems is expanding our footprint across the Southeast and is actively hiring a
District Sales Manager
based in
Southeast Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina .
You’ll represent a trusted brand with nearly
90 years of manufacturing excellence , supported by our Sarasota, FL facility and additional U.S. production locations.
What You’ll Do
Grow, support, and strengthen a PEMB Builder network
Recruit, onboard, and develop new accounts
Meet regularly with GCs, erectors, installers, and developers (travel required)
Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements (estimate Projects)
Develop scopes of work for qualified quotes and POs
Manage territory planning, scheduling, and forecasting
What We’re Looking For
Currently reside in SE Georgia, NC, or SC
5+ years of PEMB experience (PEMB sales, design, estimating, or PM is beneficial)
Strong ability to read drawings, specs, and load requirements
Experience reviewing plans and producing accurate estimates
Highly organized with excellent follow‑up and planning habits
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Microsoft Office proficiency (MBS pricing software experience is beneficial)
Self‑motivated, positive, and solutions‑focused
Team‑oriented—works closely with engineering, estimating, and marketingCommitment to safety and continuous improvement (ISO 9001)
