Retail Account Executive - Pembroke Pines, FL
Toast is expanding its offerings into new food and beverage concepts such as convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops with the Toast Retail platform. As a Retail Account Executive, you will be part of a founding team transforming how these businesses operate, using a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new accounts. You will develop customized solutions that help the customer’s business thrive and help Toast establish its brand in the assigned geographic territory.
Responsibilities
Use a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops
Generate lists of prospective customers and manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to close
Conduct demos and develop solutions that meet the prospect’s needs
Partner with teams across the business to ensure delivery meets sales process expectations
Leverage Salesforce (CRM) to manage all sales activities
Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast effectively in the market
Requirements
Fluency in both oral and written English and Spanish
Entrepreneurial and feedback-driven mindset
Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals
Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and team environment
Self-motivated, creative, flexible, and willing to navigate ambiguity
Lives in or near the market
Willingness to travel 25% or more

Total Rewards Toast strives to provide competitive compensation and benefits to attract, retain, and motivate top talent. Our total rewards package includes base salary, commissions, benefits, and equity (if eligible). This role qualifies for uncapped commissions. The starting salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location. Total Targeted Cash: $129,000—$206,000 USD.
