Hospice Account Executive
at
St. Croix Hospice Responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources and providing education on hospice care. Assists intake to ensure timely referral coordination. Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities
Meet admission and call volume targets. Coordinate daily sales and marketing operations, including implementation of marketing initiatives. Build and monitor customer perceptions of ST. CROIX HOSPICE as a high‑quality provider of services. Document all sales activity in the CRM per organizational requirements. Employ marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary sales volume projections. Maintain comprehensive working knowledge of markets, including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor market positioning. Enhance flow of communication between patient, family, caregiver, facility, physician team, and other hospice support vendors. Provide patient, family, and caregiver with education on hospice and encourage informed decision making. Assist in establishing organization volume projections in the annual budget and in allocating resources according to budgetary limitations. Conduct market assessments and develop a comprehensive marketing plan to meet budgetary volume projections. Coordinate and schedule marketing events, vendor fairs, and exhibits within various territories. Mentor and support Care Transition Team, including shadowing Care Transition Coordinators to assist in territory management. Orient new staff members of the marketing team. Lead strategic planning and identify opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs. Share knowledge of community resources and assist customers in accessing community resources when services are not provided. Monitor and report cost effectiveness of marketing efforts.
