Residential Field Sales Rep (Door to Door - South Georgia Area)
The Field Sales Representative is responsible for generating sales and sales leads within an assigned geographical area by engaging with residential prospects, understanding the needs and challenges of each prospect, and proposing TruVista products and services. They will drive a company-owned vehicle, if available, or use a personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement based on IRS published mileage rate. This position focuses on the South Georgia service areas of Tifton, Waycross, Leesburg, Fitzgerald, Soperton, Douglas, and Sylvester.
Essential Job Functions
Market TruVista services by presenting products and services in a door-to-door environment to generate sales and sales leads in neighborhoods and other residential locations within an assigned geographical area.
Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales quota and other goals set forth by the Director of D2D and MDU Sales.
Develop a high level of understanding of TruVista products and services and fiber advantages to effectively discuss services with residents.
Build rapport quickly to generate sales and sales leads.
Overcome objections quickly to generate sales and sales leads.
Work flexible hours – to include evenings and Saturdays.
Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
Must have reliable transportation.
Work at multiple locations within a territory, including Tift, Worth, Colquitt, Cook, Crisp, Atkinson, Treutlen, Montgomery, Dooly County, and extended areas required.
Perform all other related duties as assigned by management.

Computer Skills
– Possesses solid operating knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and order processing software.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training.
Industry experience is preferred.
Experience in cable, wireless or other telecommunication products is a plus.
Prior sales experience and skill in persuasion techniques is a must.
Must be motivated and capable of working with little supervision.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Time will be spent going door to door – the employee will be subjected to various weather conditions including rain, severe heat, and severe cold. Very little office time – most of the time will be spent in a vehicle or travelling through neighborhoods or complexes selling TruVista offerings.
