is recruiting for a Professional Forage Account Manager in the Northeastern United States. This is a remote position, and the successful applicant must live within the territory.

As a Professional Forage Account Manager, you will manage sales of forage and turf seeds to distributors and retailers across the Northeastern U.S., including the Mid‑Atlantic, Eastern Cornbelt, and Transition Zone. You will develop strong customer relationships, execute sales calls, attend trade shows, and collaborate on marketing programs.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain relationships with existing key accounts through regular visits across the United States.
Visit potential new customers to promote products and identify opportunities for growth within the territory.
Develop brand marketing programs for individual customers, specifically around key proprietary varieties.
Participate with team members at trade exhibitions and customer field days as needed.
Collaborate with sales management, operations, and grower services staff to develop shipping requirements for seasonal demands.
Develop annual sales budgets and update forecasts with the sales manager.
Coordinate with R&D Department and Product Management teams to plan for future varieties specific to customer needs.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree or higher.
Knowledge and experience in the seed industry or allied industries.
3+ years of similar experience in increasingly responsible roles.
Excellent verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational, multi‑tasking, prioritization, and follow‑up skills with attention to detail.
Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
Personal, positive, and competitive personality.
Self‑directed, performance‑driven with a team‑player mentality.
Willingness to travel as needed (20–30%).
Comfortable with new software and technology.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
5+ years of quality sales experience.
