Job Summary As an Inside/Creative Sales Representative at JournalBooks, you will provide exceptional customer service and support, collaborate across teams to ensure smooth order processing, and drive sales and bonuses.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to inquiries and provide product information and creative suggestions.
Proactively anticipate customer needs and follow up timely to ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate with creative sales, order processing, and production teams to verify feasibility and accurate pricing.
Handle incoming calls, provide pricing, shipping estimates, and order updates.
Use the internal system (PACE) to create estimates based on customer requirements.
Set up virtual requests for the creative sales team and price virtual solutions.
Recommend products within customer budgets.
Manage special accounts that require custom rules.
Provide samples from the sample department as needed.
Redirect calls to appropriate personnel and assist other departments.
Assist with website inquiries and chat support.
Perform basic data entry and calculate estimates.
Maintain a creative mindset, stay organized, and stay motivated to exceed goals.
Present a positive, professional attitude in all interactions.
Collaborate with other departments as needed.
Required Skills / Abilities
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Proactive; anticipates customer needs.
Follow‑up timeliness and strong relationship building.
Handles phone, email, inquiry professionally.
Proficient in internal system (PACE) and basic data entry.
Creative thinker with organizational and self‑motivation.
Positive, professional attitude under pressure.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods while handling calls and emails.
Flexible to collaborate across departments.
Experience or understanding of the printing industry is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma required; degree preferred.
2–3 years of prior sales or customer service experience.
Experience/understanding of printing industry is a plus.
Working Hours
Full‑time, hourly position.
Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Overtime may be required occasionally.
