Senior Account Executive
Location: Dedham, MA; Hartford, CT; Bedford, NH; Rhode Island
Overview Our client is a leading provider of consumer, B2B, and industrial digital imaging solutions to the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean. The company is seeking a Senior Account Executive for the Northeast region to represent high-volume printing customers across commercial printing, service bureaus, corporate in‑plants, and specialty printing environments.
Responsibilities
Engage key executives and decision‑makers to identify customer business needs and promote client products.
Develop productive business relationships and provide dedicated support to existing and new customers, adding value to their productivity and profitability.
Grow the territory by securing competitive replacements and net‑new account additions.
Create and manage short‑ and long‑term strategies to position our products and services for sustained commitments.
Demonstrate drive and resilience to meet established sales targets and activity requirements.
Manage complex sales cycles using a consultative solution‑selling approach.
Develop proposals that outline unique customer applications, pricing, and implementation plans.
Coordinate service and software support while establishing appropriate resources for each account.
Utilize internal resources (product specialists, solutions engineers, and technicians) to present solutions effectively.
Coordinate consistent representation aligned with strategic direction for each account.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of related experience in business‑to‑business production printing or capital equipment sales.
Experience selling capital equipment to C‑level decision‑makers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong business and financial analytical skills.
Effective communication and presentation skills; ability to relay ideas clearly and confidently.
Strong territory management skills with a proven record of identifying potential customers and applications.
Flexibility to adapt to changes and maximize success.
Expertise in consultative solution selling.
Excellent time‑management, listening, and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory, including overnight stays; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
Salary and Benefits Base salary $90,000–$100,000 annually, with an incentive plan/commission structure. An additional transportation allowance of $350 per month is provided. This role requires travel within the assigned territory and may include overnight stays.
