We are looking for qualified sales candidates that live in or around the Grand Rapids/Ann Arbor area. This role will be remote with 7 weeks of travel each semester covering the state of Michigan. Come grow your career and impact the future of learning alongside us!

Responsibilities You will interview, listen for business potential, and persuade select candidates to work with your company by partnering with experts in their field. As an Acquisitions Sales Representative, you are the driver and decision maker: you call and travel to colleges and universities in your territory to identify business opportunities, interview professors, and persuade author candidates who can become Kendall Hunt authors. You partner with educators responsible for lower‑level, high‑enrollment courses to develop engaging materials that meet student needs and make an impact on their academic journey.

Clear and confident communication with professors, authors, team members and internal employees.

Strong time‑management; ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain high attention to detail.

Ability to identify challenges and develop practical solutions in real time, enhancing customer satisfaction.

Proficiency in independent work while collaborating with a team to achieve individual sales success and contribute positively to overall team dynamics.

Bachelor's degree.

Valid driver’s license.
