Job Summary Responsible for prospecting and running Auris Payroll presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid‑sized merchants and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle. As a Field Sales Representative you will report to a Payroll Division Manager and receive coaching from a Territory Manager. Activities include explaining our value proposition to clients via Atlas CRM, upselling current clients on other Heartland products and services, and maintaining regular communication with the Payroll Territory (PTM) and/or Payroll Division Manager (PDM). Your role is to close sales of our business solutions with merchants throughout the area. You will set appointments, run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Auris solutions to close sales. During training, your PDM or PTM will accompany you on initial appointments to train you on our short‑cycle sales process using our tablet‑based CRM platform, Atlas.
Responsibilities
Prospect new clients.
Maintain client records in the CRM system (currently Atlas) in accordance with company policies.
Achieve minimum production requirements, including setting first‑time appointments to secure a win.
Continuously build and develop knowledge of the product/service portfolio and industry changes.
Attend weekly team meetings and weekly one‑on‑one meetings with leaders.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
18 years of age or older.
Valid driver’s license and valid automobile insurance.
Successful completion of a pre‑employment background check.
Must live in the area relative to the job posting location.
At least two years of relevant experience.
Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills.
Works well independently and as part of a team.
Incentive‑driven sales “hunter.”
Professional demeanor and impeccable integrity.
High sense of urgency and innate sales talent.
Enjoys cold‑calling and speaking with people face‑to‑face.
Accountable for measurable, high‑quality, timely results.
Ability to be in the field, a minimum of 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Prior experience in a B2B sales role.
Prior experience with a CRM tool, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.

Compensation and Benefits
W2 employment with medical, dental, life, and disability benefits.
First‑year professionals may expect an average of $90,000–$105,000+ in salary plus uncapped weekly commissions, lifetime residuals, and portfolio equity.
