Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
Our client, an apparel company, is looking for a Junior Account Executive to join their team in NYC!
Responsibilities
Manage bulk order processing and prepare accurate order recaps, UPCs, and buy sheet updates for buyer and internal distribution
Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for buyers, providing responsive, solutions-oriented customer service and proactive order follow-up
Partner closely with Sales, Production, and Warehouse teams to track orders, ship dates, samples, and inventory, ensuring on-time delivery and issue resolution
Review and analyze open order, inventory, cancel, and sales reports, identifying risks, discrepancies, and opportunities before escalation
Coordinate and request revised POs and EDIs as needed to support accurate order flow and compliance
Oversee sample management (PP, TOP, CADs, and photos), ensuring timely delivery to buyers and alignment with account needs
Maintain and audit account spreadsheets and systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy across all orders
Support account strategy by assisting in sales calls, presentations, and reporting, contributing insights and preparation
Communicate consistently with warehouse and logistics teams regarding routing, extensions, late orders, and inventory availability
Work cross-functionally to identify and resolve issues impacting accounts, escalating thoughtfully when necessary
Qualifications
Prior experience in wholesale apparel sales, account management, or customer service preferred
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with buyer-facing experience
Advanced organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
Proficiency in Excel and sales reporting tools, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative sales team
Ability to understand and apply technical sales concepts and account strategies
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
