The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of Territory Sales Managers (TSMs), driving regional sales growth through distributor partnerships, and strengthening Medit’s presence and reputation across the region.
This role requires a balance of
people leadership ,
dealer relationship management , and
hands-on field engagement . Success is driven by building strong relationships with distributor leadership, supporting downstream execution through dealer sales teams, and ensuring Territory Sales Managers are effective and aligned in the field. Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and support a team of
6 Territory Sales Managers
across the region. Set clear expectations, goals, and priorities to drive consistent regional performance. Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture focused on execution and growth. Provide ongoing coaching through regular 1:1s, field time, and performance reviews. Build and maintain strong working relationships with
Manager- and Director-level contacts
at distributor partners. Ensure Medit is well positioned, understood, and supported within dealer organizations. Partner with distributor leadership to drive awareness, adoption, and alignment throughout their sales teams. Serve as the escalation point for distributor-related challenges impacting sales execution or deal progression. Field Engagement & Co-Travel
Travel approximately
50%
of the time, including regular
co-travel with TSMs . Support TSMs in the field through: Joint dealer and customer meetings In-field coaching and development Dealer training and alignment sessions Reinforce best practices for distributor engagement, territory execution, and account prioritization. Strategic Planning & Regional Execution
Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives. Identify opportunities to improve distributor engagement, market coverage, and regional performance. Collaborate with Marketing, Digital Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to support regional initiatives. Translate company strategy into clear, executable plans for TSMs. Own regional forecasting and performance tracking, incorporating insights from TSMs and distributor activity. Review pipeline health, distributor momentum, and market trends to guide decisions. Identify risks and opportunities early and take action to support consistent results. Market & Competitive Insight
Monitor regional market conditions, customer trends, and competitive activity. Share relevant insights with leadership to inform strategy, messaging, and resource allocation. Help ensure Medit’s value proposition is consistently communicated and understood in the market. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
