Role Overview We are now seeking an Account Executive with a proven track record in high‑value B2B sales to accelerate our growth and cement EightPM as the trusted partner for brands entering the world of entertainment marketing. You’ll drive the growth of our client portfolio globally, owning the sales cycle end‑to‑end while nurturing trusted relationships with global brands.
With an Agency Support Associate (ASA) supporting outreach, research, reporting, and operational admin, you’ll stay laser‑focused on high‑value work: securing new deals, developing long‑term client partnerships, and ensuring every placement delivers real brand impact. You’ll also play a crucial role in shaping EightPM’s future talent by coaching and mentoring junior team members to strengthen our account management and sales capabilities for the long term.
Responsibilities New Business Development
Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, building pipeline, delivering compelling pitches, negotiating, and closing multi‑six‑figure deals.
Develop and deliver persuasive, tailored pitch decks and proposals that connect brand objectives with EightPM’s integration strategy.
Lead C‑suite level client meetings, pitches, and negotiations, both virtually and in person, with confidence and charisma.
Build trust and credibility with senior decision‑makers by positioning EightPM as the authority in entertainment partnerships.
Consistently secure and close deals in excess of $300k+—this is a non‑negotiable requirement.
Negotiation & Influence
Anticipate objections and confidently address client concerns with data, insights, and storytelling.
Navigate complex negotiations with brands and production partners to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
Balance creative storytelling with hard commercial outcomes in every client interaction.
Collaboration & Internal Impact
Partner with cross‑functional teams (Production, Creative, Data & Insights) to ensure delivery aligns with what was promised in the pitch.
Share best practices, insights, and case studies to continually raise the quality of EightPM’s pitches and negotiations.
Maintain precise sales reporting and forecasting in HubSpot and Monday.com.
Required Experience & Skills
Agency experience is essential—you have worked in a media, advertising, entertainment, or brand partnerships agency.
Proven deal‑closing ability: you have personally sold and closed deals of $300k+ (non‑negotiable).
4–8+ years in B2B sales or business development, ideally with exposure to FMCG, tech, luxury, or lifestyle brands.
Exceptional communicator: confident, charismatic, and persuasive, able to win a room, hold attention, and build trust quickly.
Negotiator at heart: skilled in handling objections, structuring complex deals, and driving to close without losing relationships.
Pitch expert: know how to distill complex strategies into simple, compelling narratives that excite senior stakeholders.
Commercially sharp: comfortable discussing metrics, CPM, ROI, and comparisons to paid media, influencers, and traditional advertising.
Organized and precise: able to manage multiple deals, clients, and stakeholders simultaneously.
Culturally curious: passionate about TV, film, and pop culture, always aware of what’s next in entertainment.
Familiar with CRM and collaboration tools (HubSpot, Monday.com, Slack, Happeo).
Additional languages are a plus but not required.
Competitive salary: $70,000 - $160,000 OTE per year, depending on experience.
