How You Will Make a Difference Participate in day-to-day customer service, inside sales, and on‑site sales activities. Handle all aspects of the customer experience over the phone, in person, and through email while ensuring a high level of satisfaction and technical know‑how. Support Inside Sales by preparing quotes, processing orders, coordinating with vendors, and assisting customers with product selection and availability. Provide warehouse support as needed, including order picking, staging, inventory handling, and maintaining an organized and safe work environment. This role represents all of the company's products and services within the welding, gas, and specialty gas industry while staying current with industry regulations, guidelines, and compliance requirements for the company.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Engage with a wide variety of customer requests while thinking on your feet, troubleshooting, resolving conflicts, and exceeding expectations for everything the company has to offer.

Provide "on the spot" creative solutions for customer issues in the industrial and specialty gas fields as needed.

Become an expert at everything CK Supply offers through training opportunities and by taking initiative to ask questions.

Organize, clean, and maintain the showroom and retail area of responsibility to ensure a pleasant experience for all customers and guests.

Perform effectively under stress while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Willing to wear multiple hats and go above and beyond to get the job done, including troubleshooting issues over the phone on a regular basis.

Exercise sound judgement and business acumen to make decisions that will improve results and help surpass goals for the company.

Assist with Inside Sales and in the warehouse as needed.

Communicate with the customer's Account Managers to coordinate pricing and discuss leads and quotes.

Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements, including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitors.

Adhere to the CK Core Values through behavior and words.

Other duties as assigned within the job classification and business.

Qualifications / Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

5 years of customer service experience in same or similar industry, preferred.

Experience within the welding and specialty gas environment is a plus.

Experience in quality control, strong math background, analytical ability to communicate standards and attention to detail is a must.

Ability to learn and use computer software programs fast and accurately.

Proficiency with a cash register and ability to provide correct change.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods working on feet, performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.

Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete paperwork.

Verbal communication with the production team and customers.

Ability to hear customers to help them with their needs.

Ability to lift or move products up to 75 pounds at a time.

Visual acuity as needed to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
