Account Executive
Convergint is looking for a full‑time, enthusiastic, results‑driven and forward‑thinking Account Executive to join our amazing culture.
In this role, you will cultivate new relationships, gaining an understanding of our customers’ needs while securing sales opportunities. As part of a dynamic sales team, you will grow alongside Convergint.

Responsibilities
Convergint’s greatest strength is our people—participate in the Recruit Awesome People program and help grow the company by promoting colleague‑first culture and referring top talent.
Account Development—sell to dedicated accounts, including physical security integration services, cyber, maintenance programs, managed services, and transformational services to increase customer lifetime value, profitability and mitigate competitive threats.
Develop Pipeline—work with real decision makers to assess needs, build a business case, and establish a decision time frame. Target a 3:1 pipeline ratio over target.
Proposal Construction—lead the sales pursuit team in creating winning proposals that include quotes, business case, and justification of our unique qualifications.
Presenting & Closing—present proposals to decision makers while managing objections related to timing, price, and competition. Aim to close within a timely decision window.
Market Focus—identify and develop pipeline specific to assigned markets such as global accounts, utilities, financial/banking, healthcare, data centers, federal, state and local governments, K‑12 & higher education. Pipeline should reflect opportunities in those markets.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts—work with designers, estimators, sales engineers, program/project managers, and partners to deliver winning technical solutions.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Requirements
Education: College degree, trade school, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Experience: 3‑5 years in electronic security solution sales or equivalent.
