Position Overview The Senior Sales Associate (SSA) supports store leadership in achieving outstanding customer service, sales, ATF compliance, and safety standards while maintaining leadership in the store. Responsibilities include opening and closing the store, ensuring range safety and cleanliness, and meeting personal sales goals.

Welcome customers and guide them through the shopping experience.

Cross‑sell complimentary products.

Inform customers of Range USA services, discounts, special offers, sales, and promotions.

Meet or exceed sales goals and all personal and store metric goals.

Answer customer questions regarding product pricing, features, and availability.

Maintain store visual objectives and housekeeping standards by restocking, straightening merchandise, and ensuring overall appearance and cleanliness meet company standards.

Produce daily required documents including 4473 forms, daily gun counts serial audits, position schedule, range, classroom, and course needs.

Manage store software to create merchandise labels and track daily sales versus goals.

Conduct opening and closing procedures, including cleanliness, register setup, reconciliation, and store security.

Ensure all proper firearm safety rules are followed.

Ensure range maintenance is performed and any issues are addressed or relayed to the manager.

Maintain compliance with all governmental agencies, including 4473 and background check processes during firearm sales.

Stay up to date on new products that customers are interested in.

Desired Skills & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

1–2 years of customer service sales experience, preferably in specialty retail.

Ability to understand, recall, and follow complex compliance regulations and handle confidential information.

Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, for store opening/closing duties.

Excellent communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction.

Physical Requirements

Extended periods of standing.

Lifting and/or pushing objects up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.

Working at heights up to 10 feet.
