Business Banking Relationship Manager
Stock Yards Bancorp, Inc. As a Business Banking Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned goals through outside calling activities and relationship building of potential and existing Business customers. The Business Banking Relationship Manager is also responsible for contributing to the profitability and growth of SYB Retail/Business Banking by building, developing, and expanding client relationships with Business customers, and serving Business Banking customers in a highly consultative, needs-based manner. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Develop and utilize formal calling plans to target new business and expand existing Business Banking Clients (75%) Perform credit analysis and portfolio management for assigned portfolio of business banking relationships for new and existing clients As part of portfolio management, maintain credit quality and process renewals and past dues in a timely manner Serve as the Business Banking "expert" for assigned Branch Managers located within an assigned territory Create a partnership with Branch Managers to build and expand relationships with the area businesses Assist with analyzing business financial statements, identifying strengths and weaknesses of loan requests Actively cross-sell appropriate SYB Banking products to new and existing customers Job Requirements College degree required (preferably in area of business, finance, or accounting) Minimum of 3 years experience in a banking relationship manager type role required Strong sales, credit underwriting, relationship management, business development, and analytical skills required Understand and articulate Business Banking strategies and philosophy. Ability to lift and carry up to 1020 pounds occasionally (files, laptops, marketing materials). Ability to travel to client locations, branch offices, and business events; may require driving a personal or company vehicle. Manual dexterity sufficient for keyboarding, writing, and handling documents. Visual acuity to review financial documents, screens, contracts, and reports with accuracy.
