Position Title: Director of Retail Sales
Company: Winhere Brake Parts, Inc.
Location: Bartlett, IL
Reports To: Vice President Sales & Marketing – North America
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Retail Sales position is responsible all sales of the retail accounts in North America. Provides customers with product or service related information. Maintains relationships with existing customers and provides information to maximize sales volume. The position is also responsible for developing new business with existing accounts, coordinating customer communications in support of senior management and overseas supplier. Participation in customer trade shows/events and customer visitation with overnight travel.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
Create and communicate sales goals and ensure senior executives are informed on the progress of those goals.
Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products
Knowledge of how to develop client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
Understanding of how to position products against competitors
Associates degree in a business related field
Minimum of ten years successful automotive aftermarket sales management experience
Overnight travel required
