Minnesota & Wisconsin as a Designated Coordinator Specialist, a key leadership role that ensures high-quality, person-centered services for individuals with disabilities. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead, mentor, and innovate within a supportive team environment. You'll oversee service delivery, train and coach staff, and maintain compliance with state regulationsall while fostering a positive and therapeutic environment. This role is designed as a stepping stone toward Regional Manager, providing professional growth and leadership development. Essentials: Oversee individualized support plans and ensure compliance with 245D regulations Supervise, train, and coach Direct Support staff to deliver exceptional care and provide substantial direct care Coordinate health services, appointments, and medication administration Manage staff scheduling and provide on-call support for coverage needs Maintain accurate documentation, audit files, and prepare outcome reports Monitor budgets and individual funds responsibly Build strong relationships with individuals served, families, and team members Job Highlights: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 403(b) Retirement Plan HSA & FSA Programs Employer Paid Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability Quality training, continuing career education and leadership programs Paid Time Off (Vacation, Holiday & Sick Days) Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 3 years of experience in Disability Services or related field; prior supervisory experience preferred Familiarity with 245D licensing requirements and person-centered planning Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities; proficiency in documentation and compliance standards Valid Driver's License Flexibility to provide on-call support About Us: Disability Services is a part of Volunteers of America MN/WI which serves as an affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization.
