Retirement Home Director of Nursing (DON)
Skills & Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) license with active/current standing in Massachusetts
Minimum 3 years long-term care experience
2+ years in a supervisory role which can include previous DON, Charge Nurse, or Unit Manager experience
Experience with geriatric care and multi-shift nursing leadership with a belief in providing the highest quality of living and health care services to senior residents
Must be comfortable commuting to Wrentham, MA Monday-Friday
Information:
Setting: 41-bed retirement home
Pay Rate: up to $130,000 per year
Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule 9am-5pm

Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise all nursing staff
Oversee resident care, including assessments, admissions appropriateness, documentation, and incident management
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Support facility operations, including governance, policy updates, and staff hiring processes
Serve as a point of contact for families, tours, and admissions-related discussions once fully onboarded
