Retirement Home Director of Nursing (DON)
Skills & Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with active/current standing in Massachusetts
- Minimum 3 years long-term care experience
- 2+ years in a supervisory role which can include previous DON, Charge Nurse, or Unit Manager experience
- Experience with geriatric care and multi-shift nursing leadership with a belief in providing the highest quality of living and health care services to senior residents
- Must be comfortable commuting to Wrentham, MA Monday-Friday
Information:
- Setting: 41-bed retirement home
- Pay Rate: up to $130,000 per year
- Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule 9am-5pm

Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise all nursing staff
- Oversee resident care, including assessments, admissions appropriateness, documentation, and incident management
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Support facility operations, including governance, policy updates, and staff hiring processes
- Serve as a point of contact for families, tours, and admissions-related discussions once fully onboarded
