HRIS Analyst
$ 80000 - $ 90000 / Year Raleigh, North Carolina Human Resources Permanent Role Overview The HRIS Analyst will serve as a key member of the Human Resources team, providing Tier 1 support and assisting in the maintenance, documentation, and optimization of HR systems and processes. The analyst will be responsible for responding to user inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and creating and maintaining standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and compliance. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries and basic HRIS system issues, including navigation, transactions, and reporting. Provide support across multiple HR functions such as Benefits, Compensation, Learning, Talent/Performance, and business processes. Manage the HRIS support ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation of complex issues. Perform password resets, assign security roles, and manage organizational changes. Conduct regular audits and system clean-up to ensure data accuracy and integrity across all HRIS modules. Monitor outstanding business processes, follow up with stakeholders, and take corrective actions. Support data entry and updates for employee records and organizational structures. Create and maintain SOPs, job aids, training videos, and user communications. Ensure documentation reflects current system configurations and business practices. Assist in training HR team members and end-users on system functionality and best practices. Develop and run standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards using HRIS reporting tools. Support data requests from HR and business partners, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Identify opportunities to streamline HRIS processes and enhance the user experience. Participate in testing, validation, and implementation of updates and system enhancements. Assist with special projects and HRIS system upgrades as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, IT, or related field required. 13 years of experience in Workday administration required, with some experience in one or more of the following functional areas: Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Security, Reporting, Talent. 1 year of Workday administration experience required. Advanced Excel skills required. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Customer-service mindset with a collaborative approach.
