Production Assembly
Our Walkerton client is seeking Door Assemblers. Door Assemblers begin at $15/hour. There is up to an additional $2/hour incentive bonus each week for perfect attendance and meeting department demands. What's in it for you? Production Assembly Details: Temp-to-Hire position $15.00 to $16.00 / hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm) Assemble industrial doors and components according to work orders, blueprints, and specifications Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, drill, fasten, and align materials Inspect finished products to ensure proper fit, alignment, and function Perform quality checks to meet company standards Retrieve, measure, and prepare materials for assembly Load and unload parts, components, and finished products Production Assembly Qualifications: Must be able to troubleshoot and communicate effectively and calmly with coworkers Ability to accurately measure using tape measures, calipers, etc. Ability to learn the operation of multiple machines Ability to work overtime during the week and weekend with little warning Read, write and understand English Must be quality focused Must be able to work in varying temperatures. Working in a manufacturing environment, depending on the season, temperatures can be as cold as 50 degrees and as warm as 110 degrees. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, 75 occasionally Ability to stand for the duration of the shift. MUST maintain good attendance.
