The Closing Escrow Manager supervises the closing/escrow team, tracks and reports progress of all open escrows, prepares sales reports and escrow flow charts, and reviews individual lot escrow instructions.

Your Responsibilities on the Team

Hire, train, and direct workload of closing associate(s)

Schedule & coordinate NHO and settlement date and times with Production & NHC’s

Process Closing Instructions for submission to Lennar Title/Mortgage companies and outside title companies and lenders

Manage settlement closing questions & issues via email, quick response time required

Provide Lennar Daily settlements & projections

Prepare monthly settlement backlog projections

Update mortgage status with Eagle Home Mortgage and contact outside lenders

Update JDE & Excel report with mortgage status, NHO & COE dates, and times

Update COE dates for current sales in JDE

Review and sign seller documents for settlements

Maintain closing calendar

Create reports in JDE & Excel for weekly distribution to multiple parties

Generate settlement notification letters to buyers & NHC’s

Draft mortgage, closing & cancellation default letters

Verify HUD approval

Track temporary U&O’s and lender escrows for refunds

Oversee accuracy in execution of contracts and other closing documentation

Assist with assigned projects as needed

Requirements

Minimum High School Diploma or GED

Minimum 7 years’ experience in mortgage and title processes

Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Excel, JD Edwards

Ability to professionally perform multiple, detailed-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines

Good writing and organization skills

Strong work ethic, integrity, and loyalty

Team player with ability to work well under pressure and to interact well with co-workers

General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:

We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an annual salary of $66,560.00 - $107,886, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living), and operational considerations.

This position may be eligible for bonuses.

This position may be eligible for commissions.

This position will be eligible for the described benefits listed in the above section in accordance with Company Policy.
