As part of the talented Lowe Boats team as a Fabricator, you will be responsible for configuring and operating CNC Press Brake equipment to shape materials used to build aluminum boats. Essential Functions
Operate CNC press brake machine to bend parts according to specifications. Set up, operate, and/or tend press brake to bend aluminum material. Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data. Load, install and correctly set up the tooling required. Examine completed work pieces for defects. Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level. Required Qualifications
Self-starter, team player with a good safety awareness. Requires standing, bending and twisting for a 10-hour shift. Preferred Qualifications
High School diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in fabrication preferred. Working Conditions
May be required to work in a non-air-conditioned area. Regularly required to work at heights on platforms, lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbs. Exposed to noise, dust, fumes and odors on a daily basis. PPE required: Hearing protection, vision protection, safety toe shoes, safety gloves. Compensation
The anticipated pay range for this position is $16.25 - $19.25, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate's qualifications and the business context. This position is eligible for 2% annual productivity bonus.
